- 3 Hot Options Ideas For Monday
Good Sunday members,
Going into this week I am bullish on markets. We inch closer to the end of the year and I continue to look forward to the Santa rally.
Right now I feel is a great time to start looking for some short term swing trades which is a new part of LottoX, which you can get involved with today for as little as $59 bucks.
SPY is breaking out of another bull flag pattern on the daily chart and I am watching to see if we push toward $470 by year's end.
The QQQ is also nearing a key breakout level for me around $394 at which point I will start watching $400 as the next big level of resistance.
With that being said, I am bullish on these 3 stocks: JWN, GM and KSS.
Retail stocks have performed well this month with the XRT up about 4% for December but up about $10 dollars since the start of November. We are in a long cup and handle pattern on the 5 month chart here with a key breakout of $68 area for a possible run at $70s. A cup and handle is fairly bullish and with holiday season upon us, I like JWN and KSS.
JWN is a great cup and handle pattern here as well. I love the breakout over $16.50 area for a possible swing at $19 previous high from August of this year. There are some unusual options activity on Dec 15th $17 strike calls I’ll watch on Monday.
KSS is a very similar pattern here and also has unusual call activity for Dec 15th $26.50 calls which is the previous high from late August of this year. I usually go in the money when playing options but I’ll be watching these Monday morning to see what the volume and price action looks like.
GM is my last stock on radar for early this week. GM right now has some $31 put activity going on that’s getting my attention. I think traders are watching to see if GM pulls back to the base of that gap and if it get weak, does it drop to $29 area to actually close the gap before heading higher?
