First, overnight auto tariffs have been placed and Trump threatens “far larger” tariffs if EU and Canada unite to do “economic hard” to the US.
Second, at 8:30am there will be key Jobless Claims which will give the Fed another look at where we stand from an employment situation and just the general health of the economy.
Finally, at 8:30am we will have a key GDP reading which will give us more insight into the growth of the economy here in the USA
I think these 3 items will shape the markets today.
