Here is what is driving the markets this morning.

📉 Markets Tumble Amid Political and Trade Turmoil

U.S. stock futures are sharply lower this morning as investors react to escalating political tensions and trade uncertainties. President Trump intensified his criticism of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, suggesting his removal, which has raised concerns about the Fed's independence and unsettled markets. 

Additionally, China's warnings against trade agreements perceived as unfavorable have added to the market's unease

Market indicators reflect the volatility and are mostly under pressure outside of gold.

  • Dow Jones Futures: Down 0.94%

  • S&P 500 Futures: Down 1.08%

  • Nasdaq Futures: Down 1.16%

  • Gold: Surged above $3,390 per ounce as investors seek safe-haven assets
