The 25% bounce missed in FCX

Sometimes the idea is right but...

I want to be completely open about this past week's trade in FCX .

The idea was solid. 

I liked the setup and added to my calls for an average of $1.16. 

Technically, the trade worked out - the stock eventually spiked, and those calls hit a high of $1.45. That represents a potential 25% move for the week.

But here is the transparent reality: I sold my position for a loss before that bounce happened.

It happens to the best of us.
