This Weeks Bonus Idea Update

Just a quick update for today’s BONUS “Play of the Week” or POTW which is a new aspect to my Market Navigator SPY morning options trading service.

P.S Nice double digit winner there today on my SPY calls, let’s go!

Anyway, today’s POTW closed the day up about 1% and is hopefully gearing up for a push towards $22 to $23 dollars.

Remember, I am playing the OPTIONS here so 1% on the stock could mean 20 to 30% move on the options.

FYI I am now in this trade at $1 for the options, target is 30 to 40% gains.

Here is a quick look at the chart. That recent high is what I am targeting for now.

Good morning members and happy Monday, let’s gooooooooo.

Market are coming off a big drop last week as traders took a break from the Election rally from the previous week. SPY, QQQ and IWM all dropped 2%, 3% and 4% respectively for the week. 

This week markets are gearing up for big earnings such as LOW, WMT, TGT and the grand daddy of them all, NVDA which is Wednesday after the close. Should be a fun market. 

If LOW follows HD from last week then I will be looking for that stock to perform well. WMT and TGT are kicking off retail sales which if I recall have done well, but not done well enough to get buyers back in for those big ticket items so their guidance will be interesting to hear. 

Bitcoin was a monster last week as well, pushing up into the $93k range before pulling back into the mid / high $80k area. Interestingly enough, MARA, RIOT, CLSK and even COIN to some extent suffered pullbacks. This could be a good time to watch those types of stocks again for rebounds. 

In that space, keep an additional eye on HUT. I think this one could continue to surprise traders and make a push up over $30 in the short term. At 15% short float, this could also be a nice squeeze candidate over $28. 

If you’re looking more into the defense / aerospace type space which has been really hot then keep your eyes on LUNR. LUNR was my LottoX alert on Thursday which performed really well to the downside before launching back up and pushing into new highs before the close. Stocks in that space include, BA, ACHR, LMT, GE and the likes.

This brings me to my focus trade for early this week.

Keep in mind that I don’t know precisely where the stock or options prices will open. I am trying to get in the ballpark with my estimates.
