President Trump’s speech had a significant impact on the market today.
He announced a temporary exemption for certain electronics—specifically smartphones 📲, laptops, and semiconductor components—from new tariffs on Chinese imports.
As a result, we witnessed a notable surge in major technology stocks, including Apple, Dell, and Nvidia to name a few.
However, it’s crucial to remain cautious as these exemptions may be temporary, with sector-specific tariffs on electronics and semiconductors potentially being implemented within a month.
This could reintroduce volatility to the market.
